Clergy, delegates and visitors are cordially invited to attend the pre-convention events scheduled at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on Thursday, October 25.
4pm: Registration for convention opens in Kempton Hall.
(A chance to register early and avoid the Friday morning rush!)
4pm: Trinity Bookstore opens.
5pm: Spouses and partners of clergy are invited to supper and a workshop hosted by Dr. Marla Martin Hanley.
Gretchen Brauer-Rieke, spouse of the Lutheran Bishop in Oregon, will facilitate the workshop. Unraveling the Role: Changes, Challenges, & Choices will be an interactive and engaging time to explore together the recent cultural transitions that have affected the church, gender, and sexuality and how these broad social changes shape our relationships and roles as clergy spouses/partners. Please RSVP to marlah@diocese-oregon.org.
5:30pm: Two workshops will be offered at no cost to the participants:

5:30pm: Guided tour of Trinity Cathedral. A second tour will begin at 6pm.
Fred Jeibmann will share the history and translation of the beautiful stained glass windows. Dale Voeller will discuss the history, architecture and artifacts of the Cathedral. No reservations are needed to participate.
7pm: Eucharist and The Blessing of the Oil
8pm: A reception hosted by Trinity Cathedral will be held in Kempton Hall.
Special note: Marla Hanley will be signing copies of her new book during this reception.
9pm: Trinity Bookstore closes.
